Graduating from Birmingham Conservatoire, with a first class honours degree in music, Reed has nearly 30 years experience performing and recording with countless artists covering a wide variety of styles. With an outstanding technical ability, his performances are often described as electric and mesmerizing. However, few players can ‘groove’ with the creative style and musicality that has made Reed one of Birmingham’s first-call bassists for many of the visiting artistes to the city.

I got absolutely hurt at rehearsal today. The funk was off the JB scale, measuring a 11 on the funk Meter. I'm looking forward to this gig so much I may not sleep. Gonna have to get to the Tower of Power and hit the Funk Stretches, Jazz Crunches and Hip Hop punch bag hard. May have to include some Dancehall Yoga too.
