Reed Bass brings his brand of Jazz to The Roadhouse His exciting contemporary jazz quintet have managed to fuse the old skool with the new, weaving an intoxicating blend of harmony, rhythm and melody to create an electrifying aural experience. The band features the some of finest contemporary musicians in the Midlands who have been active on the local, national and international scene as a session musicians, working with many of the leading names in contemporary music across an array of genres, including Beverley Knight, Soweto Kinch, Andy Hamilton, Wiley, Peter Andre, Julian Smith, to name a few artists. With a wide range of influences, their music has been described as a fusion of the music they grew up listening to (funk, gospel, blues, reggae, soul) with a generous portion of current music genres (grime, hip hop, r&b, dancehall, dubstep) served on a bed of jazz.
